What do we offer?

So... how do we really get rid of nits?

It all starts with checking members of your family for the bugs. They can travel from one member of your family to another, so it's important that we check everyone for them.

If we find lice on anyone's head, we will get to work first gently combing the knots out with our sanitized detangling comb and conditioner, then comb out the hair inch-by-inch with our sanitized lice comb. Finally, we will French braid longer hair to keep it out of your face.

When we are all finished with your family members, we will give you detailed instructions about the next steps to prevent a reinfestation of lice. The after-care plan also eliminates the need for doing extra housework.

Lice Check

Our gentle technicians, wearing latex-free gloves) will thoroughly check your family members to see who has been affected by the lice. Nits start out occupying the nape of your neck, so that's the place where we will look first.

If we do find the presence of lice, and you'd like for us to remove them from your family's heads, we will waive the fee to check everyone. For example: if we check four family members, and only two have lice, we will charge you $300 to remove the lice instead of $300 plus $120 ($420 total).

Once we determine the presence of lice, we will ask you to wet your hair in your sink to temporarily stun the lice then gently comb out your hair to get rid of any knots. After that, we will go inch-by-inch through your hair with our nit comb. When we have removed all the lice and eggs, we will braid longer hair to keep it out of your face.

Along with aftercare instructions, you will receive a FREE lice comb to save you the trouble (and embarrassment) of running to the drugstore for one.
